Rhipsalis photos on the Web

We're reminded by one of our discussion group members to check out these Web sites for photos:

Uknown Rhipsalis at Little & Lewis 8/07

This unknown Rhipsalis, possibly campos portoana, is on display at the garden of Little & Lewis on Bainbridge Island, Washington. My favorite garden. Great book.

R. ewaldiana

R. pachyptera

R. paradoxa ssp septentrionalis and R. pacheco leoniss ssp catenulata

Left: R. paradoxa ssp septentrionalis
Right: R pacheco leonis ssp catenulata

R. burchellii

R. paradoxa ssp septentrionalis

R. paradoxa ssp septentrionalis has flowers that start off white and then turn yellow with age.

R. clavata ssp delicatula

R. puniceodiscus

R. pilosa

This plant came labeled R. pilosa but pilosa is referred to R. horrida and this plant is not even close to being horrida. The flower is typical of the baccifera group, however.

R. occidentalis

No idea whether this is accurately named. Apparently the flowers vary in color, so no one knows.

R. crispata

Suspected of being a form of R. neves armondii.
